DESCRIPTION Prior to starting the 2023 tour, Ann Wilson and her band Tripsitter finished ANOTHER DOOR, a record of all-original material, which marks the first time since the '70s that Ann has written a full-length album collectively with a band. Tripsitter features Tony Lucido (bass), Ryan Wariner (guitars), Sean T. Lane (drums), and Paul Moak (guitars and keyboards). Tom Bukovac (guitars) was also a primary contributor. ANOTHER DOOR marks the first time in her career where Ann was the sole lyricist and her presence on a record has never been greater. Ann says, "This is an exciting time in my creative life; so much new and fresh to remind me of why I love my calling!" The cover for Another Door was created by StormStudio which began in the early 1990s with Storm Thorgerson, Peter Curzon, Rupert Truman, and Dan Abbott. Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell co-founded Hipgnosis, who between 1968 and 1983 created artwork for the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney & Wings, 10cc, AC/DC, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, and many others. Following Storm's passing in 2013 Aubrey Powell has worked closely with StormStudio on numerous projects since. Widely praised as one of the greatest singers in the history of Rock, Ann's extraordinarily powerful voice has been sending chills down her audience's collective spine for over five decades, earning record sales of more than 35 million, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. "Barracuda," "Crazy On You," and "Magic Man" are among the many songs she's written that now reside in the pantheon of Rock's greatest hits. "This Is Now" from ANOTHER DOOR plays seamlessly alongside the classics in her current live set and tour. Last year Ann sang with Disturbed's frontman David Draiman on the duet, "Don't Tell Me," from their recently released DIVISIVE album, and lent her voice to Dolly Parton's forthcoming rock record "Rock Star," (Magic Man). From DREAMBOAT ANNIE to Disturbed, to Dolly Parton and beyond, Ann Wilson defies genre. 1 Tripsitter 2 This Is Now 3 Rain of Hell 4 Stranger in a Strange Land 5 Waiting for Magic 6 Ruler of the Night 7 Still 8 Rusty Robots 9 What If 10 Little Things 11 Miss One and Only

It / Watcher Of The Skies More information: Recordings for Genesis’ first post-Peter Gabriel album, A Trick Of The Tail, began in October 1975 at Trident Studios with David Hentschel as producer. As a replacement singer had not been found, the band decided to record the album without vocals and audition singers as they went. They placed an anonymous advertisement in Melody Maker for "a singer for a Genesis-type group". But, having failed to find a suitable singer by the time vocals were required, Phil Collins went into the studio and attempted to sing ‘Squonk’. His performance was well received by the band, and they decided that he should be their new lead vocalist. Collins then sang on the remaining tracks. A Trick Of The Tail was released in February 1976 and was a commercial and critical success for the band. The album reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 31 in the US. Before the upcoming tour, Collins sought a drummer he felt comfortable with while singing; he chose Bill Bruford who offered to do the job. From March to July 1976, Genesis performed across North America and Europe with the A Trick Of The Tail tour, to enthusiastic crowds. Collins adopted a more humorous rapport with the audience, unlike Gabriel's theatrical approach, which was successful. The tour began on 26 March 1976 in London, Ontario, Canada, and ended on 11 July 1976 in Luton, England. Shows in Glasgow and Stafford were filmed for Genesis: In Concert (1976). Genesis’ European leg of the tour commenced on 9th June, with the first of six dates at London’s Hammersmith Odeon. Their second night at Hammersmith, 10th June ’76, was recorded for live broadcast, and has remained unreleased until now. This new 2 CD set features this remarkable event in its entirety. Note: Recording quality can vary on FM broadcast releases.

DESCRIPTION Formed in 1969 by Daevid Allen, one of the founder members of Soft Machine, Gong established itself as one of the most unique, innovative & experimental rock groups of the Seventies. Mixing rock, jazz & psychedelia with elements of mysticism & hippie-based surrealism, all laced with a far-out sense of humour, the group's music, along with it's communal lifestyle & fascination with all-things Eastern, epitomised the hippy ideal of the day. Zero To Infinity is the tenth Gong album and the fifth album instalment in the evolving saga of Zero the Hero. Previously unavailable as a standalone album for almost 20 years, it is now being released on vinyl on the original commissioning record label for the first time and features re-purposed Daevid Allen album artwork. The album's concept is based on Zero the Hero, the character introduced on the famous Radio Gnome Invisible Gong Trilogy of Flying Teapot, Angel's Egg and You where the protagonist was seemingly trapped in the ever-repeating cycle of life and death. Zero is then shown a path to possible liberation through love where he evolves to exist on a non-physical plane. Leading us to Zero To Infinity where our hero discovers the advantages of a body-free, virtual existence. Much like this fluid existence the music on Zero To Infinity transcends genre to create an otherworldly, psychedelic experience that is entirely unique to Gong's inimitable sound and essential to any fan. This is the millennial Gong band at their very best bringing inventive and creative musicality to the never ending and constantly developing mythology of Planet Gong as it guided us into the new Century. The album features original Virgin band Gong members including late, visionary leader Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Didier Malherbe and Mike Howlett, alongside Soft Machinist Theo Travis and drummer Chris Taylor. This fondly remembered album was experienced live by thousands on several extensive tours in the UK and Europe throughout 2000-01, some of the band's longest since the 1970s. This edition of Zero To Infinity is presented on CD digipack with a four page booklet.

DESCRIPTION The Vietnamese Lunar New Year identifies 2023 as The Year of the Cat... and the timing couldn't be better! Real Gone Music and Second Disc Records are proud to announce a definitive, first-ever singles collection from legendary singer-songwriter Al Stewart. In 1976, Stewart took "Year of the Cat" to the top ten of the Pop and AC charts, inaugurating a run of timeless hits still heard on radio today. Now, for the very first time, each and every one of the British troubadour's seminal A- and B-sides from his halcyon period has been brought together. Songs on the Radio: The Complete U.S. Singles 1974-1981 brings together 20 tracks which catapulted the artist from folk clubs to the mainstream. Often in collaboration with producer-engineer Alan Parsons, Stewart bridged the gap between FM rock and AM pop. He brought his passion for historical events and flair for lyrical invention to these singles originally issued on the Janus and Arista labels, including "Nostradamus," "Carol," "On the Border," "Midnight Rocks," "Year of the Cat," "Song on the Radio," and the record-breaking, chart-topping "Time Passages." And the B-sides ("Terminal Eyes," "Sirens of Titan," "A Man for All Seasons," "Merlin's Time") are every bit as compelling as the A-sides! Every track is presented in it's original U.S. single version (most of which are new to CD and not even included on Stewart's massive The Admiralty Lights box set) as newly remastered by Mike Milchner at SonicVision. The deluxe 20-page booklet features Joe Marchese's extensive interview with Al Stewart as well as rare photos and memorabilia. As a special bonus, the unique U.K. single edit of Al's signature song "Year of the Cat" is also included. With vivid lyrics, captivating melodies, crisp guitars, and, yes, smooth saxophone, these Songs on the Radio celebrate the remarkable discography of a master musical storyteller. On Oct. 6, the next installment in the ongoing Joni Mitchell Archives series will arrive, with Vol. 3: The Asylum Years (1972-1975). Announced officially on Thursday, the collection will be made available as a 5-CD/digital set and a slightly trimmed-down 4-LP edition, with an accompanying book featuring photos and a conversation about this period between Mitchell and her longtime friend Cameron Crowe. More on the context surrounding this chapter of Mitchell’s storied career, per a news release: Come 1972, Joni Mitchell’s singular songwriting talent and poetic gifts were undeniable. Fresh off the back-to-back Platinum-certified releases of 1970’s Ladies of the Canyon and 1971’s Blue — totemic albums whose artfulness and ubiquity would influence generations of songwriters — Mitchell had grown wary of mounting media scrutiny. Everything from her style choices to romantic partners became the subject of far more gossip column inches than were ever dedicated to the lifestyle minutiae of her male counterparts. In response, she had pulled back, announcing an early retirement from the stage in 1970 and moving to the quiet expanses of British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. It was a fruitful change of scenery. Inspired by her proximity to nature and refreshed by the peaceful seclusion, she began constructing the songs that would become For The Roses. This respite thrust Mitchell into a remarkably fertile creative period, yielding a run of albums — 1972’s For The Roses, 1974’s Court And Spark, and 1975’s The Hissing Of Summer Lawns — that would simultaneously expand and refine the scope of her music. Her adventurous, intricate arrangements and growing formidability as a bandleader injected these songs with a clarity of purpose, a potent muscularity, and a sense of possibility — it is among the most exciting eras of a near peerless career. Here’s a demo version of “Help Me,” which would go on to become one of Joni Mitchell’s most well-known and successful songs in its final form on the Court & Spark record in 1974: Click here to shop Joni Mitchell in our Rock Cellar Store (Archives, Vol. 3 pre-orders coming soon) Click here to pick up Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 2: The Asylum Albums (1972-1975), originally released in Sept. 2022 The full track listing for the 5-CD set of The Asylum Years (1972-1975): CD 1: Graham Nash David Crosby Session Wally Heider Studios, Hollywood, CA, Dec. 13, 1971 1.
